Canon World

Snow Falls is your average quaint, but quirky small town close enough to the Big City to not be isolated, but far away enough to not be too sure about those newfangled gadgets people use these days. There are lots of adorable farm animals and horses, but no one is actually using them for agricultural purposes, they are part of the aesthetic. There are so many christmas–sorry–pine trees towering above cabins with smokestacks. There is a bookstore, it is small and charming but oh! So well stocked! There is a gazebo where a town santa works year round. There is not a practical store in sight and yet somehow no one wants for anything! There is not a single racial minority!! Two white men held hands once, but you might've missed it because your neighbor Anna was busy marrying a prince on vacation! Everyone knows everyone and everyone loves Holly.

History

• Deborah "Debbie" Lastname was born as the eldest and ever so precocious, she won baking competitions as an infant and small child, she was all set to become world famous when she lost once and resigned herself to one day be merely a lowly small town baker. This decision was made at age 6


• Her very best friend and sister, Holly, was born and her entire life changed!


• Holly goes to high school! (Debbie starts working at a bookstore to raise money to start a bakery)


• Holly goes to college! (Debbie starts moonlighting as the Town Santa because bookstores don't pay enough to buy bakeries)


• Holly moves to the Big City! (Bookstore owner dies and leaves Debbie the bookstore which is kind but also sort of a burden, she can now afford to start her own bakery, but barely, so now she runs the bookstore, bakery, and is the Town Santa. Finances aren't great)

Personality

Debbie is supportive to very best friend and sister always and will put aside all three of her jobs to listen to her problems for hours. She has the best advice and tells her sister and very best friend to listen to her heart. She never liked that Ryan!
